when I was about six or seven, I told a lunchmom who wore half an inch thick glasses "my what big eyes you have" I was young and thought she would laugh but she took me aside and told me that I was a horrible person to say such things and that I would hurt so many people with my thoughtless words. she then said "now I may go home and cry depending on the rest of the day." then let me go play with the rest of the kids at the playground. I havent felt bad about it but I have always wondered if she did in fact go home and cry. I dont think it matters anymore though.
